I am a husband, father, author, and minister. More importantly, I am a living epistle—an open book being written by the grace of God. My life’s mission is to disciple others by simplifying the Word of God and sharing the "keys" I’ve gained through my own struggles.

A Short Story of my Journey of Redemption through Christ

I was born in 1987 and licensed as a minister at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in 2012 at the age of 25. Since then, my path has been a series of mountain peaks and very dark valleys. I have walked through:

  • The process of healing (a lot) from childhood sexual abuse

  • Overcoming addictions to opiates, marijuana, and nicotine

  • Navigating seasons of "backsliding" and the search for purpose in singleness

  • Deep dark moments of depression to the point of attempting suicide

I believe every struggle is a key gracefully given by God to unlock a door for someone else. I didn't go through these things just for me; I went through them to help you.

My Life is an Open Book….

The most profound example of God’s sovereignty in my life is how I met my wife, Aiesha. After I released a vulnerable video on March 30th, 2014, sharing my story of childhood abuse, God used that moment of transparency to bring us together in 2017. We married in 2018 and welcomed our son in 2019.

It is a story "right out of a book," proving that even our most painful chapters in life can lead to our greatest blessings, when we place God as a center focus. This is why I stand firmly on the truth found in Romans 8:28 (NKJV):

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

What I Do & Why

  • Theology Simplified: I earned my B.S. in Religion from Liberty University and an Associates in Human Services from Trident Technical College. I believe a gift of mine is taking complex Biblical truths and making them easy to apply to see life change.

· Interactive Growth: I authored God’s Classroom Volume 1: 22 Interactive Lessons. It focuses on journaling and personal application—how to glorify God through life change by faith.   • Financial Stewardship: I am passionate about teaching the Body of Christ how to handle finances, wisely. I want to help families fight the stress and lack of self-control that often tear marriages and lives apart.

The Goal

I live to serve God through writing and teaching. Whether I’m talking about overcoming the past problems or planning for a financial future, my goal is to be a disciple who makes disciples. I don't just talk about the Word; I live it and strive to become better day by day in any way possible that would bring God glory.
